Female Deputy Director at the Cimic Centre of Excellence (CCOE)

ENSCHEDE (sch) – On Wednesday, 02 December 2009, Colonel Henny Snellen, LL.M. Dutch Army, took over responsibility as Deputy Director of the CCOE.

Colonel Henny Snellen has just come back from a deployment to Afghanistan, where the Colonel has been working as the Legal Adviser to the Commander of Regional Command South. Her military career comprises of several appointments as an Artillery Officer and Legal Adviser. The last post the colonel had before the deployment to Afghanistan was in the Policy support Branch in the Dutch Army Staff. The Colonel was welcomed by the Director of the CCOE Colonel Hans Jürgen Kasselmann, who formally introduced her to the Staff of the CCOE, followed by a smsmall reception. Colonel Henny Snellen thanked for the warm welcome, and stated that she is looking forward to the tasks, challenges and opportunities in her new post in the international environment at the CCOE.
