Operation Branch
How we work…The role of Multinational CIMIC Group (MNCG) is to engage in the civil and military cooperation giving full support to the NATO military Commander on the field. The Regiment could be tasked to operate in Collective Defense Operations under Article 5 of the NATO, in Multinational Crisis Response Operations and in support of Humanitarian Operations. Multinational CIMIC Group could be used for NATO purposes at very short notice. The Multinational CIMIC Group can deploy all the HQ or different “implementation detachments” called "Deployable Modules". Whatever activity the Multinational CIMIC Group will be engaged in, it will be capable of deploying its own DMs and activate the Reach Back organization. The Deployable ModuleThe MNCG DM, normally composed by staff elements, has to be skilled with conducting/monitoring, operations planning and liaison capabilities. MNCG DM will respond to the three main areas of CIMIC activities: Operations, Planning and Liaison. The MNCG DM has to be considered a “plug and play” asset.
