Cimic

From 21 - 29  July 2011, a Multinational CIMIC Group Mobile Education and Training Team supported NATO School Oberammergau (NSO) for running a CIMIC course in the framework of NATO Training Mission – Iraq.
The aim of this training event was to provide basic CIMIC education to an audience of IRAQI Army Officers & Policemen selected for CIMIC appointments.
The course was run in the pleasant and professional NSO academic environment, where a highly skilled team of Arabic interpreters made the highest degree of interaction between students and Instructors possible.
NATO School Commandant, Colonel Mark Baines, gave a course opening speech and took advantage of that opportunity to stress the importance of such training events as an evident proof of the NATO firm commitment in Iraq.
