On 18 April 2011, MNCG Commander Col. Antonello Vespaziani and the Commander of 28° Regiment “Pavia”, the Italian Unit specifically dedicated to Psychological Operations, Col. Giovanni Semeraro, have signed the Memorandum of Understanding aimed to the mutual exchange of expertise, instructors and attendees to the respective resident courses.
In fact, MNCG main focus in matter of T&E is preparing in the best possible way its own personnel and students for a possible employment as CIMIC Operators in missions abroad, where CIMIC and PSYOPS work in close coordination under the same Info Ops roof, with overlapping areas of interest and shearing quite often the same target audience and certainly the common goal of peace.
