On 15th April MNCG received the visit of an Italian Senate delegation with Senator Mauro del Vecchio, who is General of the reserve and former Italian Joint Forces Headquarters Commander.
After being welcomed by MNCG COM, Col Antonello Vespaziani, the delegation was guided for a visit to the compound’s infrastructures and facilities and was given a briefing about this NATO Unit, its organization, tasks and operational commitments, together with a specific description about the MNCG CIMIC assets in Afghanistan and Lebanon and of the MNCG DM, the MNCG CIMIC asset which is self-sufficient in logistical and administrative terms and ready to be deployed for NATO missions upon a minimum notice.
Finally the delegation greeted all MNCG personnel highlighting its high professionalism, the efforts spent by its assets in all overseas missions and praising the efficiency of this NATO unit about Civil Military Cooperation, matter in which the MNCG is also a Permanent Consultation Forum and Center of Expertise.
