Title


MULTINATIONAL CIMIC GROUP is the only CIMIC capable unit available in NATO southern flank, and is located in Motta di Livenza (TV), Italy.
CIMIC is an acronym that stands for CIvil MIlitary Cooperation, a high level coordination concept where military units from different contributing Nations, Governmental Organizations (i.e. Ministers, National Health services, etc), International Organizations (i.e. UN, EU, etc) and Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) work together to restore essential services in an operational enviroment (Countries that have been affected by natural disasters, wars, etc).
CIMIC Group was created on January 1, 2002 with the partecipation of Greece, Hungary, Portugal. Romania joined CGS in 2007.
