The Shield

The Shield of the Multinational CIMIC Group Regiment was developed in collaboration with Cimic Centre of Excellence (CCOE), a similar unit based in Budel, Holland. The coat of arms of the two units will have to be similar in design and colour, to emphasize the equivalence between deployment and task sharing within the respective regional commands, JFC Brunssum and JFC Naples.

The shield has Multinational Cimic Group written on the upper part and a drawing two shaking hands, which symbolizes humanitarian aid and cooperation, below it.

The green colour expresses hope, which the unit must carry to the civil population in the crisis area where allied military operations are taking place.
