Efstathios Kokkorogiannis

LTC Efstathios KOKKOROGIANNIS was born in Germany on 19th Feb, 1965. He joined the Military Academy in 1982 and graduated as Artillery Officer with the rank of Second Lieutenant in 1986. He Attended the Artillery Basic and Advanced Course, the Hellenic Army War College, the Air-Defense Course and Strategic Intelligence School.

He served for more than 18 years in various posts in Artillery Units and also as Staff officer in various Army HQ’s. He commanded an Artillery Unit for two years. He was Senior Instructor for two years in the Artillery Advanced Course. He served for one year as Military Observer in UNIKOM (United Nations Iraq - Kuwait Observation Mission).

He was awarded the following medals according to his ranks, experience, knowledge and excellent service:
-United Nation Medal (twice)
-Medal for Peace Support Missions
-Gold Cross of the Order of Phoenix
-Gold Cross of the Order of Honour
-Medal for Military Merit 2nd Class
-Medal for Excellent Commandership 2nd Class.

From July 2007 till June 2008 he was CJ9 Chief in Multinational CIMIC Group and since June 2008 he is Deputy Commander Ops of Cimic Group South.
He is married to Mrs Aikaterini TRIKKA and they have two sons, Konstadinos 11 and Panagotis 5 years old.
